Mermaid Aurora comes from the from the icy cold waters of the Arctic Ocean. She was named after the beautiful northern light phenomenon also known as the Aurora borealis, which can be seen from her home ocean. She is known for her sparkling blue eyes and cheerful spirit. She can often be found playing with seals, pulling pranks on the polar bears, swimming with beluga whales, and teaching humans how they can reduce greenhouse gasses in an effort to help preserve and prevent the beautiful glaciers, which surround her home, from melting.
