Skye is an adventurous and free-spirited mermaid from the cool freshwater lakes and rivers of the Appalachian mountains. Every year mermaid Skye migrates to the warm turquoise waters of the Gulf of Mexico with where she spends time skimming along the surface with cow nose stingrays and flying fish. Because mermaid Skye spends her time both upriver and in ocean environments, she has seen how a single drop of rain from high above a mountaintop will find its way into a stream, river, and finally end its journey in the open ocean.
